1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Truveil ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Truveil is an AI-powered digital trust platform that analyzes URLs, text messages, emails, and social media content to detect scams, phishing attempts, misinformation, and other digital threats. The Service provides Trust Scores and risk assessments to help users identify potentially harmful content.
3. User Accounts
Some features of Truveil require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Submit personal data of third parties without their consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service for automated bulk analysis without prior written consent
- Submit content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Misrepresent the results of analyses or Trust Scores
5. Subscription Plans
Free Plan
Limited daily scans and access to basic scanner features. No payment required.
Premium Plan — $9/month
Unlimited scans, real-time monitoring, browser protection, email analysis, and advanced AI risk detection. Billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to Premium, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Truveil's AI analysis is designed to assist users in identifying potential threats, but we do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Trust Scores and risk assessments are probabilistic in nature and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for security decisions.
We are not responsible for any harm resulting from content that was not flagged by our system, or from actions taken based on our analysis results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truveil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or security breaches.
9. Intellectual Property
The Truveil platform, including its AI models, algorithms, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of Truveil. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
10. Public Reports
When you generate a public report, you grant Truveil a non-exclusive license to display and share that report via its unique URL. You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit for public reports does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
11. Browser Extension
The Truveil browser extension is subject to these Terms of Service. The extension analyzes web content in real-time to provide threat alerts. Use of the extension is at your own risk, and we are not liable for any issues arising from browser compatibility or extension conflicts.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
